Lexus Used Cars- The Lx

Automobiles Lexus used cars like their second generation LX 470 was the Luxury automakers flagship SUV at the time it was in production. From 1998 to 2007 this SUV was one of the best you could buy in the large luxury SUV market place. This particular vehicle also competed with some other famous brands like the Lincoln Navigator, Cadillac Escalade, Audi Q7 and the Mercedes-Benz GL-Glass just to name a few. The Lexus LX 470 was based on the Toyota Land Cruiser (with off road capabilities) but with many more luxurious features. With such a great name for quality and reliability, my research will be on the Lexus LX 470 as a used vehicle to look at. The Lexus LX 470 is an eight seated SUV that comes standard in all-wheel drive, ABS brakes and traction/antiskid control. Other features that come standard are front side air bags, side curtain airbags (for the two front seats), rear view camera, wireless phone link and the navigation system. Extra options also include the Night View system (this produces images on the windshield of objects you cannot see with normal headlight range) and the DVD entertainment system. There was only one fuel statistic from 2000 to 2007 for the LX 470. The LX 470 had a fuel rating of 17.5-litres, per 100km, for city driving and 13.2-litres, per 100km, for highway driving. It is well documented that Toyota/Lexus is known for their fuel friendly vehicles, but theres not much you can do with such a large vehicle combined with a big engine. There are two different statistics for engine displacement when looking for stats on the LX 470 from 1998 to 2007. From 1998 to 2002 the LX 470 had a V8, 4.7-litre engine and this produced 230 horsepower, with 320 pounds per feet of torque. From 2003 to 2007 the LX 470 had a V8, 4.7-litre engine, and this produced 275 horsepower, with 332 pounds per feet of torque. Lets look at some pros and cons of the Lexus LX 470 as a used vehicle to look at: 1-It was given a good rating as a used vehicle to own by a leading online consumer watch dog. 2-There are some problems with the navigation system not being able to properly read the map. 3-In a Lexus web forum I went to, it shows complaints (by owners) with rear sensors for the rear suspension breaking down. 4-There are no crash tests results I could find on the Lexus LX 470. I hope this helps if your thinking of buying Lexus used cars like the LX 470. About the Author: 相关的主题文章:
